TWENTIETH OCTOBER TWENTY-TWENTY

Image
I'm scared! Really scared of stepping my feet On the soil of Nigeria  Cause of manslaughtering. I weep for the dead I'm torn for the lost It's bloody It's ghostly We called it peace They call it war We said it is a protest They said it is violent We are helpless We are hopeless Oh God of creation Direct our Noble cause Direct the leaders to exile Cause we want them no more, They refused to be guided right Because the youth already knows the truth in love And honestly has began to grow Although this leaders are not ready to live in just and truth But we are determined to attain great lofty height  So we can build a nation where peace and justice reign Therefore, Arise O' compatriots Nigeria calls,  We obey, We will not relent, Cause it is not the end. @eyestooheart Dedicated to the protesters that lost their lives during the protest on 20/10/2020

And now, I am a man digging graves behind the mystery of Ghana must go. Democracy, power by the people, for the people and with the people - but then, it rested in the hands of Shagari. And that country where he ruled was Nigeria, favored with streams of oil and I was a foetus in the womb of an Accra woman sojourning to this allied land for the proclamation of lost glories. The friendship of two countries broken by antagonism over power tussle  and when the oil boomed to Ghana no more, safety was a word in the dictionary. Religion differences nested uprisings, Biafra was not the worst - Maitastine was and still is. Old sores revisited, then Ekwueme got in the wrong  shoe and lost his assets but never lost his life. And water-loo took its essence, the faces behind
